Oldies are Classics, Not Old

yesterday there was this attorney that wanted me to burn audio cds for him which contained REALLY old songs, like from the 50's or so. fortunately, i was able to download songs like that and stored them up to 5 cds with 18 songs each. i tested them and my mom began smiling when she heard the songs. she said those were the songs of their time when my dad was still courting her! mom even gave dad a cassette of connie francis 'cause she said she was one of the major music influences at that time...im suspecting them as the "metallica"s of before but now we only disregard them as grandpa's useless music. we should be thankful that they were there to give us the music to revolutionalize! did you know that because of them, theres maroon 5, metallica, incubus and so forth? they are the foundation of what we call music today, even if their music is not our music. i tried listening to one of the cds and i was surprised that they could produce such music that mellow and rock join as one, music nowadays are of pure genres, if its metal, its metal and if its pop, its pop. ignore the discrimination and try listening to them, you might like them in a way how your granddads or parents love them as you love your music now. who knows, when we get old our music will be disregarded as well, i hope not.
